A brief description of the Polystypos village.
Few of the vineyards for which the village was once known survive today. This, however, does not stop the community from organizing an annual palouzé and Soujoúko festival each October. On the way to Livadia you will see St. Andreas, the church of the village.
If you like walking, you can follow the nature trail of Tishia tis Madaris. It is a circular - 3km long and the starting point is accessible by car from the Chandria-Polystypos road going towards Madari. It offers a view of the Mesaoria Plain and the Morfou Bay.
