What to see?
Stavros tou Agiasmati: a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monastery was founded by refugees who came to Cyprus around 1453, after Constantinople fell to the hands of the Ottomans. The wall paintings of the church are dated to the second half of 15th century, and they include a painting of the discovery of the Holy Cross. The church is 8km outside the village.
