It happened to almost all of us if not all. A weird and freaky sequence of events took place and it resulted in our mobile phone either been soaked in liquid or even worse, dropped in a container with water. Here are the steps you could follow to save your cell phone after a nice bath:
1. If you plug it into a power supply you will completely kill it, so DON’T!
2. Simple, take it to the shop you bought it from. If it was an online purchase then forget any support as you will have to treat it yourself.
3. If you decide to treat the problem yourself you could take a small plastic bag, put inside rice along with those silica packets, usually found in electronic boxes, throw your phone in there and seal it.
4. Onwards you should put the sealed bag in a dry and warm place. As soon as you see that wetness is released you should do the whole procedure again in a new bag. Allow the phone to stay in that bag for three to five days.
5. After that period remove the phone from the bag and plug it into a charger. You should not plug it into a computer as there is a possibility to damage it as well.
