10 ways on how to combat cellulite (Part A)

Cellulite is the collected fat that pushes against the connective tissue under the skin. This push against the tissue makes the surface of the skin look like orange pill. Diet is an important factor which contributes to the appearance of cellulite, particularly on the body of women. Therefore, it is important to adopt the right diet that will help you to reduce the retention of fat under the skin. 


To combat this enemy do the following: 

1. Have small meal portions and eat more frequently (4-5 meals per day)

2. Reduce your intake of foods that contain sodium. These include:

  • Salt
  • Readymade sauces
  • Salad dressings
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Delicatessen products
  • Salted, dry meats and fish
  • Cheeses
  • Pickles
  • Olives
  • Processed food
  • Frozen peas
  • Regular bread
  •  

3. Reduce the intake of alcohol to 1-3 drinks per week.

4. Visit the gym and exercise more often. Exercising helps to get rid of fat retention. You should keep in mind that it is not how rigorously you exercise that matters, but for how long you exercise (a good exercise for example is a 45 minute walk each day, 5 times a week).

5. Increase your intake of fiber by eating foods such as whole grain cereals, pulses, barley, oats, flax seeds and green salads. as well as root vegetables such as carrots.
