Take a bus tour with George: A tour on George’s Bedford Bus is sure fun; this is the same type of bus that was used in Cyprus until the late 60s to transport workers and students from their villages to the city early in the morning and bring them back to the village in the evening. The tour includes a visit to the Art College and the Experimental Village in Lemba, a site for research into aspects of experimental archaeology and where a replica of a Chalcolithic village has been created; a visit to Agios Neofytos Monastery which contains some of the finest Byzantine frescoes from the 12th to the15th centuries, and the Enkleistra (the cave) where Agios Neofytos lived from 1159, and where he was buried after his death; a visit to Adonis Baths the favourite meeting place of the love Goddess Aphrodite and her lover Adonis, where you will have the opportunity to swim into the waters of the pool that is formed by the water falls, and in which Adonis used to bathe; and finally you will have lunch and visit the amazing ‘Kantarkastoi’ sea caves in Agios Georgios tis Pegeias.  P.O.Box 61314, Kato Pafos. Telephone + 357 99465196. Εmail: info@georgesfunbus.com
Sail around the Akamas Peninsula: full or half day cruises around the Akamas National Park will take you to Coral Bay, the ‘Kantarkastoi’ Sea Caves in Agios Georgios tis Pegeias, and the sandy Beach of Lara, the nesting and hutching place of Caretta caretta. The Pafos Sea Cruises have a stall at the harbour. Their office is on Apostolos Pavlos Road and their telephone is +357 26910200.
