Physiotherapy is the science dealing with skeletal, muscular, respiratory and neurological medical problems, and its main objective is to restore the patient’s health so as to enable him/her to return to his/her daily activities.

Physiotherapy owes its name to the natural treatments that are being used which include the application of electricity, light, water, sound, electromagnetic energy and most of all the application of hands. These treatments have no side effects because they are compatible with the systems of the human body. One example is electrotherapy which is used for the treatment of the neurological problems and which stimulates the cells.

For the use of any medical equipment, or the application of hands, is required prior specialized knowledge of physiotherapy treatments. The physiotherapist has the specialized knowledge that will allow him/her to apply the correct treatment at the right time and on the right body part.
