Your target shouldn’t be to convince the consumer to choose you over your competitors, but instead your target should be to make the consumer realize that what you are offering (product or service) is exactly what they are looking for. To achieve this you need to do the following:
- Understand first of all the expectations of your clients. Talk to them, show interest about their needs. Your clients do not ask for a friendly shoulder to rest upon; instead they are in need of the solutions you can give them. Build your brand so your clients can “connect” with it.
- Clearly define the values that describe your product or service. That is, how you would like the consumer to describe you (consistency, liveliness, technology, innovation, tenderness, boldness, etc). Forget the usual like quality, service and low price. These must be for a fact.

- Be consistent. Consistency is the basic ingredient of a successful brand. Choose the right forms of communication and showcase our message with consistency and respect.
