Projectors vary in brightness levels
The place is of paramount importance
- Location
The place/area that you are planning to use your projector is of paramount importance therefore you could ask the following three questions:
a) Will it be used in a small sized room with maximum capacity of 10 to 15 people?
b) Is your projector intended to be used in a large space such as a school auditorium?
c) What type and amount of light exists in your projection room?
- Budget
The market has numerous models of projectors varying of course in quality and in price. However quality should not always be compared with price as many other factors contribute to the price of a projector. Nonetheless if you know your budget then you can easier narrow down your options. Consequently you could ask:
a) What amount of money you are able to spend on your projector?
- Luminosity
Projectors vary in brightness levels (measured in Lumens-ranging from1000 to 2000). Based on your projection location you will choose the level of brightness of your projector.
a) For small conference rooms, dark or with little light 1000 lumens is satisfactory.
b) In big rooms or auditoriums with plenty of light 1500 to 2000 lumens is preferable.
