When trying to choose which watch to buy, the options are virtually unlimited. There are ways of narrowing it down:
- Appearance: Gold, platinum, or studded with diamond, rubies and emeralds. Guys generally like tough waterproof watches.
- Style: self-winding, old-style mechanical wind-up, quartz, LCD, LED lights.
- Features: functions on watches include time zones, an appointment alarm, a stop watch and calendars, basically anything you can think about.
- Brand or customized: a watch from a well-known brand will be well appreciated. Or get creative, and look for a customized piece that stresses the uniqueness of the recipient.
